Directions To The Museum 
 
Take Highway
401 to 3B exit. Follow signs to Ouellette Ave. We are located in the Main Library at 850 Ouellette Avenue. From the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel, make a left hand turn at Park Street to Ouellette (1/2 block). Turn left on Ouellette to 850 Ouellette Ave. From the Ambassador Bridge, make a right hand turn at bridge exit (Huron Church Road) until you reach University Ave. Turn right ,continue until you reach Ouellette Ave. Turn right to 850 Ouellette Avenue.

 

Parking: 

The Library and museum are Wheel chair Accessible. Metered parking is available at the rear of the building on Dufferin Avenue for cars. Parking is available for buses at the Food Basic Store, which is one block east of the museum. 

Admission:

 

Guided group tours- 10 or more - $1.50 per person 
School groups- $1.50 per student 

 

Soap Carving with tour- $3.00 per person 

 

Off site Soap Carving Class- $5.00 per person  

 

Groups- Group tours are by appointment only, with at least two weeks notice.

 

Individuals- by donation  

 

                                
We have worked with all levels of school groups as well as seniors groups. Tours in English are available year round.  We can accommodate approximately 25 to 30 people.
