Educational Programs
Learning opportunities, educational displays, and hands-on activities are all part of the education activities at the museum. Guided tours for school children are available throughout the year. With advance notice a wood carver will be on hand to demonstrate the art of carving to the children and to answer any questions they may have regarding this ancient form of art.
Your students will be treated to a tour of the museum, a visit with one of our carvers, hands on activity and a visit to the Children’s Department in the Central Library. The Central Library is also home to The Shaanti International Doll and Costume Museum and can be added to your field trip. Please see the Contact Us page for more details and to book your class tour with us today.
Come and explore our exhibits and learn more about this ancient art.
