Pre-register to attend the activity. Each library has there own registration system.
Age: 8 – 13 years old maximum of 20 kids per day.

Art in the Part --- Kiosk – Demonstration & Information
Sunday, June 8, 2009 from 10am-12:01pm
Location: Art in the Part
At the Rotary Club 1918 Tent, from 10-12 on Sunday two carvers from the Museum will demonstrate the art of wood carving. Museum brochure and information also available.

Volunteer Fair

Location: Catholic Central High School
The Museum will present a small sample of its collection and its upcoming activities and programs. Specially focusing on finding the best match for youth interest and volunteering at the Museum.

Education Fun Festival --- Kiosk – Information & Demonstration
Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 9am-3pm
Location: Education Fun Festival at Canadian Transportation Museum & Historic Village
The Museum will present a sample of its collection and its upcoming activities and programs. Specially focusing on its school and educational programs.

Location: Good Life Fitness in Tecumseh Mail
The Museum will present a sample of its collection and its upcoming activities and programs.


March Break Activity - Animal Soap Carving for kids
Wednesday March 12 from 1 pm - 3 pm at the Central Library -
During this 2 hour program you will experiment the basics of soap carving with real hand made wooden tools.
You will be able to choose a pattern and you will carve it into the soap. Instructors will help you out.
If you are between 6 and 13 and you would like to carve with us, Register at the CLC desk. Maximum of 20 participants.
Parent are welcome and encourage to attend and help their child.
The activity will be held in the tiled area close to the Dufferin entrance.
